KARAS RED WINE ARENI ARMENIA 2023

A bold and expressive red blend crafted from Syrah, Malbec, and Cabernet Franc grapes grown in the volcanic soils of Armenia’s Armavir region. Karas Red Blend reflects the richness of the land and the depth of Armenia’s 6,200-year winemaking heritage.

The grapes are manually harvested and undergo temperature-controlled maceration. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation is completed in stainless steel tanks, preserving purity and structure. The result is a vibrant wine with body, character, and finesse.

Grape Varieties: Syrah, Malbec, Cabernet Franc
Origin: Ararat Valley, Armavir Region – Armenia
Soil: Volcanic. Lightly eroded clay formed by basalt, high levels of carbonate and limestone, volcanic tuff and alluvial stones
Climate: Continental, cold semi-arid with warm summers and dry cold winters. Annual precipitation level is around 305 mm
Vinification: Manual harvest followed by selection table. Temperature-controlled maceration. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation done in stainless steel tanks.
