The Goulée vineyard experienced a scenario similar to that of Cos d’Estournel, with smaller temperature differences. The age of the vines and their deep rooting, the scratching operations but also the water reserves and the freshness of the Gironde allowed it to react well to weather conditions.
The 2018 vintage of Goulée by Cos d’Estournel presents an elegant balance between a beautiful opulence and a great freshness.
Energetic, it is a dense wine whose aromas of ripe red fruits combine with a peppery and mineral side.
